Maintenance Hanger
Spring 2009


Low Country Painting was selected to perform the work on this project. This hanger is adjacent to the new airport terminal building.
The airport manager wanted the hanger's exterior to be prep'd and painted to compliment the new terminal's color scheme.

Prep work consisted of pressure washing, spot priming with rust inhibitive primer, and applying two coats of Direct to Metal (DTM) Waterborne acrylic enamel to the metal siding and trim package. The metal roof was also cleaned, spot primed, and recoated with an Elastomeric cool deck product. ICI Dulux Paints’ Devoe and Anvil industrial products were used on this project.

We coordinated our activities with the hanger staff to minimize impact to their daily operations. Their cooperation and assistance made this a true "team oriented" project.
