This home was originally built in the mid 1800’s. It was designed with a
central heating system in the basement. The home was purchased by the
current owners in the winter of 2004. Low Country Painting was contracted to
paint both the exterior and interior of the home including the detached
garage (carriage house).
Special attention was given to the details of the home in the area of trim,
ceilings, and cabinets. Crown molding, chair rails, specialty trim, and
stairways were prepared for painting with focus on ensuring the final finish
highlighted these areas. Wallpaper was removed, surfaces skimmed and other
repairs made to the walls of the home.
The exterior was hand scraped, spot primed and painted with the top of the
line semi gloss latex paint. The entrance details and trim were painted to
reflect the original design of the home.
Years later, the home looks like it was just painted!
