Architect: McMillian Smith & Partners
Location: 1535 Hobby Street, North Charleston

Lead Dog, LLC, www.leaddog.info, a Lowcountry- based commercial real estate firm purchased building NH68SC for its new Lowcountry Innovation Center at the Navy Yard at Noisette. A former US Navy Building, the 40,000 Square foot structure is being transformed into an incubator space for knowledge-based companies and creative industry firms.

Chastain Construction, Inc., www.chastainconstruction.com, is the general contractor for the project. The founders of the company are focused on being a reliable, value-driven, and customer-centered commercial construction company with a commitment to quality and excellence.

Low Country Painting, LLC, who has a history of teaming with Chastain Construction, was contracted to support the initial interior upfit phase of the project. This phase focused on common areas including conference rooms, break area, support rooms, and general tenant space that are ready for immediate move-in.

The Low Odor/Low VOC products, www.colorwheel.com, used on the project met the LEED certification requirements. LEED certification is the recognized standard for measuring building sustainability. Achieving LEED certification is the best way to demonstrate that a building project is truly "green."

Low country Painting's attention to detail, team oriented participation, and end-customer focus allowed for a successful completion of this important phase of the project.

We appreciate Lead Dog, LLC and Chastain Construction allowing us the opportunity to participate in this high visibility project!
