Christ-St. Paul's Church
Yonges Island, SC
This new sanctuary was dedicated and consecrated on November 1st, 2008. It
ushers in a new season of worship and ministry for the current congregation.
Christ-St.Paul's Church dates back to 1706 when the Church Act created nine
parishes in South Carolina.
Harbor Contracting was the general contractor and Low Country Painting provided
all the interior and exterior painting services.
Color Wheel Paints, supplied by Lord & Evans Paints, were exclusively used on
this project. The interior ceilings and high walls were coated with hi build
primer and topcoated with Solace. Solac is an 100 percent acrylic resin product
that is low odor and low VOC. It is specially formulated with Microban so
anti-bacterial barrier on the paint surface exists for the life of the paint.
This anti bacterial agent cuts down on surface germs and minimizes odors.
The exterior was painted with Color Wheel's Flex Lox product that is
specifically formulated for cementitious siding and exterior wood products. The
trim was painted with Color Wheel's Optima 100 percent acrylic satin latex.
Members of the church completed the faux painting and trim work on the main
columns of the building as well as the staining of the floors.
Low Country Painting considers it a privilege to have been a part of this
project!
